About

Operator. Builder. Governor.

25 years of commercial leadership across Asia-Pacific and Europe. The last five years building EDGE so that boards and operators have a working language for AI capability that does not collapse the first time someone asks what it actually did.

Who I am now.

I am SVP of Commercial Operations and Governance at SQREEM Technologies, based in Singapore. I sit at the intersection of commercial revenue ownership, M&A integration, and AI governance. The day job is a P&L and a board pack. The other half of the week is EDGE, AIinASIA, and a small number of advisory and fractional engagements with founders and operators who need a senior peer rather than a consultant.

I created the EDGE Framework for Applied Intelligence because most organisations adopt AI like they are buying stationery. Enthusiasm without architecture. Scattered experiments, mounting exposure, and an illusion of progress that collapses the first time a board asks for evidence. EDGE is what I use to make AI capability a structured choice rather than a vibe.

I also publish AIinASIA.com, which reaches around 10,000 readers a month without paid distribution, and I built promptandgo.ai because Asia deserves AI prompts that respect the register, the market, and the language.

Alongside the executive work I am building democratising.ai, a mission-led venture extending the EDGE framework to operators and teams who need AI to work without a CTO behind them. The first EDGE apps live there now, with more landing through the rest of the year.

What I have actually done.

SQREEM Technologies, since 2024. SVP Commercial Operations and Governance. Joined the SQREEM group through the TotallyAwesome acquisition in May 2024, having led Commercial at TotallyAwesome from 2022. Helped broker the deal and led the go-to-market and operational integration. Two commercial stacks became one, with governance controls in place from day one. The internal lessons sit in the EDGE Govern pillar. Now leading commercial operations, GTM, and governance across finance, data, and compliance.

AIinASIA.com, since 2020. Founder and publisher. Around 10,000 monthly readers, no paid distribution, written for operators rather than tourists. AIinASIA is the editorial wing of the same voice as this site; the longer-form work increasingly cross-publishes here. Recently launched AIinArabia and AIinEurope, and the accompanying Spotify podcasts for each.

BlackStorm Group, since 2020. Advisor. Growth, transformation, and AI adoption across the firm's Asia-Pacific portfolio of founders and scale-ups. Workshops, board prep, and the harder conversations about which AI initiatives to stop.

Earlier leadership. Growth and Marketing Director at AdColony and Digital Turbine. Chief Strategy Officer at Tickled Media. CEO at PerformanceAsia. Earlier leadership at Virgin, News Corporate, and CBS. 25 years across regions, formats, and stack layers: agency, publisher, ad-tech, AI-tech.

Coaching and committee work. Active mentor and coach at the Facebook Accelerator Programme, e27, the Beyond4Tech Mentorship Programme, and the SDG Open Hack 2026 Ngee Ann Polytechnic Edition (from May 2026). Have served on IAB and MMA committees. Judge on industry panels in the trade-marketing space. Full mentorship and press list available on request.

How I work.

I take on a small number of advisory, fractional, and non-executive engagements a year, alongside the SQREEM commitment. Selection happens both ways. The shapes are listed on the home page: EDGE Diagnostic, fractional leadership, advisory and board, workshops and capability.

What I expect from clients: a real question, a willingness to act on the answer, and someone in the room with authority to spend or stop. What clients can expect from me: short documents, dated decisions, and the specific costed lessons rather than generalities. I do not write decks for decks' sake. The output of every engagement is something a team can act on the Monday after.

If we have not worked together before, the right first move is a 30-minute call. Book or email me here.

I am also somewhere in the top one percent of TripAdvisor and Google reviewers globally, which is the second most interesting thing on this page.

Connect.

The shortest path to a real conversation is a 30-minute call. For the slow read, LinkedIn is the surface I keep updated and where the post-event reflections land first.
